New analysis published by the Migration Observatory at the University of Oxford has revealed how migration has shaped the composition of school and university students over the past two decades.

The Migration Advisory Committee (MAC) has been commissioned by the Government to carry out a partial review of the shortage occupation list, to determine whether there is a shortage of teachers or teachers in specific subjects that it would be sensible to fill through non-European Economic Area (EEA) migration.
