UK Visas under the Ankara Agreement
If you are a Turkish national and you are looking to come to the UK as a business person, you may be able to make a successful application under the Ankara Agreement. Furthermore, if you are already in the UK under a different visa, you may be able to change to this category.
To make a successful application, there are certain eligibility requirements you must meet. You will need to be able to prove that you have the skills and ability to establish the business proposed, in addition to the funds required. If you are joining an existing business in the UK as opposed to starting your own, there are additional requirements you must meet.

If you are a Turkish national and you are currently working legally in the UK, you may be able to extend your stay by applying for further permission. You can apply after working in the UK for a year, and you may change employer after working in the UK for three years where you continue to work in the same occupation. You may then go on to work in any job for any employer after you have worked in the UK for four years.
